Lightweights Justin Edwards and Yancy Medieros are slated to fight at UFC 177 in Sacramento, California on August 30th, in a bout that is crucial for both fighters UFC career’s.

Justin Edwards is just 2-4 in his UFC career, most recently dropping a decision loss to Ramsey Nijem back in January. He will be riding a two-fight losing streak into the bout.

Yancy Medieros, on the other hand, has yet to officially pick up a win under the UFC banner. After dropping a TKO loss to Rustam Khabilov, Medieros won his next fight against Yves Edwards. But the fight was ruled a no-contest after it was discovered that Medieros tested positive for Marijuana. After that Medieros dropped a submission loss to Jim Miller in April.
