Junior dos Santos (17-3 MMA) lost the heavyweight title to Cain Velasquez back in October 2013 at UFC 166. “Cigano” is 2-2 in his last four fights and his only losses in 8 years came by the hands of the same man, Cain Velasquez.
He’s officially the #2 heavyweight in the world and with a win against Alistair Overeem (39-14-1 MMA), Santos will have a good argument to challenge for the belt after a rematch between Velasquez vs Werdum that will take place in February or March of this year.
