Former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks will take on Tyron Woodley at UFC 192, which will take place Oct. 5 in Houston, TX.
The fight was confirmed on Wednesday’s UFC Tonight. Hendricks was hoping for a title shot but instead will take on Woodley who has won 4 of his last 5 fights.
Hendricks is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Matt Brown. UFC 192 will feature light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier in the main event as he looks to defend his belt for the first time against Alexander Gustafsson.
