UFC flyweight and Team Alpha Male fighter Joseph Benavidez will take on Ali Bagautinov at UFC 192.
It was expected and even at one point reported that Benavidez would be taking on Henry Cejudo. However, it seems like that fight fell through. According to Benavidez it was because Cejudo wouldn’t agree on a date.
No matter the reason, Jo-B’s got a fight and couldn’t be happier. In a recent post on Instagram he posted a pic of himself and Bagautinov with the caption:
“Wow! We are doing a great job punishing these cheaters! They already gave him a year suspension and now this…. Can’t wait!! #ufc192”
Obviously it’s a reference to his opponents past failed drug test and year suspension and apparently, according to Benavidez, fighting him is also a part of the punishment…who knew?
