UFC middleweight title contender Luke Rockhold was excited to learn his AKA teammate Daniel Cormier would be getting another shot at UFC gold! After Jon Jones was stripped of his belt and suspended from the UFC, Cormier was the next logical opponent to fill Jones’ spot at UFC 187. Rockhold is excited to get back in the gym to help his partner take home the gold.

Rockhold is coming fresh off a win over Lyoto Machida at UFC on FOX 15. The victory catapulted him to the top of the rankings and his name has been mentioned as a potential next challenger to the UFC Middleweight Championship. Iron sharpens iron.
