Undefeated UFC lightweight Myles “Fury” Jury (15-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) has apparently been offered a fight with surging 155-pound contender Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.
“Fury” gave fans the inside scoop earlier today:
I’m getting asked non-stop when I’m fighting next and if it’ll be against Donald Cerrone. Just to let you all have a little inside information…
The UFC has contacted my management wanting this fight, fans want the fight, I hear Cerrone wants the fight and we want the fight.
Now it’s just waiting to see what January date.
Myles Jury is coming off a first-round TKO victory over Takanori Gomi, which he scored at last month’s UFC Fight Night event in Tokyo, Japan.
Meanwhile, Donald Cerrone is coming off a decision win over former Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez, which occured at last weekend’s UFC 178 event in Las Vegas.
