Following his recent victory over BJ Penn, Frankie Edgar has his eyes set on nothing but big fights.

The former UFC lightweight champion recently told, Bloodyelbow.com’s Steph Daniels, that a super fight against Urijah Faber, isn’t off the table.

Bloody Elbow: There is a lot of fan interest in a possible fight between you and Urijah Faber. Would you ever be able to make the drop to 135 or maybe meet at a catch weight of 140 if the circumstances and money were right?

Frankie Edgar: 135 might be a stretch, but I think I could do 140. I probably could make 135, but I don’t know how well I would perform or how my body would feel. 140 is much more ideal for me, and if the right situation arises, I could see that fight happening.
