The UFC’s Dustin Poirier made his return to the lightweight division at Saturdays UFC Fight Night 63 in exciting fashion. He stopped Diego Ferreira in the first round and during the post-fight interview inside the cage, Poirier announced that he already knows when his next fight will take place.
“Joe Silva went up to me after the fight and said ‘you want on the New Orleans card, you’re on it.’ He said he’s saving me a spot. So New Orleans, I’m coming home baby!”
“I haven’t fought there since 2007 maybe, it’s been long overdue baby, let’s do it!”
