Donald Cerrone is never one to shy away from a fight, or to stay on the sidelines for an extended period of time.
Given that, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Cowboy wants a quick turnaround after his UFC 178 co-main event win over Eddie Alvarez last night.
He spoke during the post-fight press conference to MMAJunkie:
“I, of course, want to stay very busy, so taking a fight on November or December would be great for me. Waiting? I don’t know. I want to fight.”
With UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis currently slated to fight Gilbert Melendez in December, do you think the stars have aligned for Cerrone to finally fight Khabib Nurmagomedov once ‘The Eagle’ returns from a knee injury?
