On Saturday the UFC headed to Dublin, Ireland for a packed event that saw several of UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor’s teammates fight.

First up was Cathal Pendred, who lost via 1st round TKO to Tom Breese, then was Aisling Daly who scored a unanimous decision win over Ericka Almeida. Last but not least was Paddy Holohan who lost via submission to Hawaii’s own Louis Smolka in the main event.

Conor McGregor took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the event.

The game is truly bitter sweet! Proud of all my teammates. Respect to every fighter who made that walk tonight. It is not for everyone.
