It was announced recently that Nova Uniao coach Andre Pederneiras will be retiring in 2016.
Guess who had something to say about that? None other than Jose Aldo’s upcoming challenger Conor McGregor.
The Irishmen had a few things to say about the champs coach announcing this before their big fight.
“Maybe it’s announced that [Aldo is] gone as well,” said McGregor at a recent media scrum, “because his coach is gone. How’s his coach gonna say he’s gonna retire when his fighter has the biggest fight of his life coming up? C’mon, what is that? They’re done with the game.”
“Maybe Andre can come over here and chill out with me and hold pads for me. We can do a little bit together maybe. If he wants a job, he can have a job here.”
