MMA fans may have seen Occupation: Fighter on Netflix. A well known documentary following California MMA star Chad ‘Savage’ George leading up to his fight against Antonio Banuelos in 2010.

Shortly after the documentary was filmed Chad underwent back surgery to replace a disk that had blown out in his back. I interviewed Chad in April and talked to him about his hopes of getting back to fighting soon with the help of his physical therapy team. Chad is back to full training now, and this video adds to the hype surrounding his return to MMA.

Chad is targeting October for his comeback, and when he announces a finalized date for his return, it will be on BJPENN.com radio. Stay tuned for updates. In the meantime enjoy this promo for his return below.
