Top female bantamweight fighter, Cat Zingano announced today that she has received clearance from her medical team to resume training.
Zingano, who made her UFC debut with a brutal stoppage over Miesha Tate, was originally slated to coach ‘The Ultimate Fighter Season 18’ opposite Ronda Rousey and promised a title shot for her Tate victory.
Injury forced her out of the picture and as a result she’s been out of action since April of last year.
‘Alpha’ announced her clearance through her official twitter account earlier today:
At Incredible Smiles in Boulder, getting a fresh mouth guard for my fresh start training hard again. I'M CLEARED! @ufc @BoulderDentist
