This past weekend, at the ‘UFC: Welcome To The Show’ press conference, Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson squared off for fans and media members.

When the two met on the center of the stage, the two proceeded to reenact the infamous brawl Jones had with Daniel Cormier prior to their fight (See that HERE), however nobody else was in on the joke at first. After everyone realized it was a joke they shared a laugh, including UFC President Dana White.

Now, Anthony Johnson is admitting that he in fact was the mastermind behind the idea of the fake brawl.

He spoke to MMAJunkie:

“I was like, ‘We need to do something to get everybody going,’ and he said, ‘I’m going to headbutt you.’ I was like, ‘Cool, let’s do it,’”

Johnson went on to say that their prank was even better, because of UFC President Dana White’s reaction.

“Dana’s ‘Mr. Billy Baddass,’ and you can’t do anything to him. He definitely damn near sh-t on himself.”
