Middleweights Sam Alvey and Tom Watson are set to square off on August 16th in Maine. The fight will serve as Alvey’s promotional debut.
Alvey (22-5 MMA) is the MFC middleweight champion and a former TUF 16 competitor, however after a brutal KO to get into the house Alvey was defeated by decision.
Tom Watson very well may be cut from the UFC should he lose this fight. After bouncing back from a loss in his promotional debut, Watson dropped back to back decisions to Thales Leites and Nick Catone.
