UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez made defending his title look easy last Saturday, defeating Junior dos Santos by TKO in the fifth round of the conclusion of their trilogy. Cain did sustain a few bumps and bruises, however, which were evident during the post-fight press conference.

Cain’s superficial injuries didn’t stop him from enjoying what he had accomplished however and was making jokes and laughing with the media and his friend and training partner, Daniel Cormier while on the panel.

In his most recent post on his official Instagram, Velasquez shows that he is healing fine and that the bruises were ‘well worth it’:
