Wanderlei Silva and Charles “Felony” Bennett have had a storied history together, going all the way back to PRIDE FC when “Felony” claimed to have knocked out Silva during a backstage brawl.
The rivalry was renewed once again following “Felony’s” most recent win at RIZIN.

Bennett won via a spectacular 7-second knockout against Minoru Kimura on September 25.
As the story goes, Bennett and Silva were involved in a backstage brawl back in PRIDE, where legend has it that “Felony” put Silva to sleep with a punch right after being choked unconscious by one of Wanderlei’s coaches, Cristiano Marcello.
The two have gone back and forth about what really happened during that infamous incident, with this video being the newest part of their saga.
In the video, Bennett can be seen pointing and saying something to Silva right after his knockout of Kimura while Silva was sitting cage side. Wanderlei followed “Felony” backstage and confronted him, looking for what appeared to be a fight.
Being the much smaller man, Bennett attempted to walk away and diffuse the situation while security interjected between the two.
Silva just recently signed on to rematch Mirko Cro Cop under the RIZIN banner after serving a lengthy suspension following an issue with USADA back in 2013, where Wanderlei allegedly ran away from drug test takers when they arrived to test him prior to a scheduled bout with nemesis Chael Sonnen.
That fight never came to be after both men ran into issues with their drug screenings. Silva hasn’t fought since a thrilling back-and-forth knockout win over Briann Stann in Japan back in 2013.
