Despite Nate Diaz’s size that he has put on ahead of his welterweight rematch with Conor McGregor, the Stockton native that usually fights at lightweight is in fantastic shape.
The Diaz brothers along with friend and training partner Kron Gracie competed in the Xterra Tahoe City triathlon over the weekend and put up some great results.
Gracie came in fourth place in the male 25-29 bracket while Nate came in eighth place in the male 30-34 bracket with Nick one spot behind in the male 30-34 bracket coming in ninth place.
The triathlon consisted of swimming two 750-meter laps with a 50-meter beach run,
riding 22-miles, and running 5+ miles.
Nate Diaz is set to take on Conor McGregor at UFC 202 in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 20.
