While Ovince Saint Preux was ultimately selected as a fill-in opponent for Jon Jones in the main event of UFC 197, top ranked UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt called out Jones moments before the UFC officially announced OSP as a fill-in opponent.

OSP was chosen after it was revealed that UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier would be unable to fight Jones in their highly anticipated rematch due to a knee injury sustained in training.
