The MMA community has yet to get any new substantial information regarding Jon Jones’ positive steroid test following his fight with Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, which took place in July. Jones originally had a hearing date set for December 12 but was granted a continuance in November, which pushed his hearing date back to February 2018.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan and fellow martial artist Eddie Bravo were talking on the JRE podcast about the latest with Jones and the status of his hearing and Rogan opened up on some of the rumors that he has been hearing.

“The craziest rumor was, everybody knows Jon likes to party, I’m not throwing him under the bus,” said Rogan. “I mean, he’s even joked around and said to D.C. when D.C. was talking shit, he was like, ‘I beat you after I did cocaine,’ I mean, which was f**king hilarious. But, the craziest rumor was that they [many cocaine dealers] cut creatine with cocaine. It’s one of the things they cut cocaine with and that they used some cheap Chinese creatine that was steroid-tainted, which is apparently very common.

“Apparently, there is a lot of creatines and different things you take, they have trace amounts of steroids that will show up in tests because the same vats they make that shit in, they make steroids in, they make everything in. They’re making them in China at these really shitty bulk places. You’ll occasionally get tainted supplements. Happens all the time.”
