UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has a fierce rivalry with former champion Jon Jones. This rivalry will once again come to a head on July 29, when they battle for gold in the main event of the stacked UFC 214. Yet while this is Cormier’s most high-profile rivalry, it is certainly not his only one. The reigning champ also has a pretty sizzling beef with British knockout artist Jimi Manuwa.
The latest chapter in this Cormier-Manuwa beef was written by Manuwa, who went off on the champ in an interview with Kimura.se
“Can I swear on this?” Manuwa asked the interviewer, foreshadowing what would clearly be a profanity-ridden tirade on the champ.
“Of course,” the interviewer replied, giving Manuwa the green light for his verbal onslaught.
“Fuck Daniel Cormier,” the Brit said. “He’s a fat wrestler, and I don’t really give a shit what he says. Everyone says he’s a really nice guy, and I don’t really like him. He seems to me like a bully, sort of thing, and I don’t like bullies. He’s got the belt, and he’s a great fighter and everything. I respect him for that. But as a person, I don’t really like him. I don’t like his attitude towards other fighters. He kind of looks down on people. So I don’t really respect him. I don’t believe he will get out of round two with me.”

Jimi Manuwa is currently on a impressive, two fight streak composed of thunderous knockouts of Ovince St. Preux and Corey Anderson. He also fights on the UFC 214 card, taking on fellow contender Volkan Oezdemir in a perceived light heavyweight title eliminator.
Do you think Daniel Cormier and Jimi Manuwa will ever fight? If so, who do you think wins?
