Jason “Mayhem” Miller made headlines after nearly four years out of competition as he weighed in for his middleweight title fight at Venator FC over the weekend.
“Mayhem” stepped on the scales and weighed in 24 pounds over the middleweight limit and his fight with Luke Barnatt was canceled.
However, Miller was given a light heavyweight bout with Mattia Schiavolin and Schiavolin disrupted Miller’s plans of finding a win in his fight coming out retirement, submitting “Mayhem” in the second round by rear-naked choke. This was Miller’s second loss by submission in his 33 fight professional career.
See what Miller had to say to MMA Underground’s Jonathan Shrager about missing weight, his relationship with Venator FC and his future fighting following his loss.
