Recently, during a press conference promoting his UFC 201 fight with Tyrone Woodley, UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler was asked about his thoughts on a potential superfight with Conor McGregor.
Lawler went on to state that the fight would have been bad for McGregor, because had he hurt the featherweight champion, he wouldn’t have gone for his neck and submitted him like Nate Diaz did at UFC 196, he would have gone for McGregor’s soul.
The clip of the stoic Lawler went viral, which of course led to a hilarious edit of the interview.
