Since it was announced Tuesday morning that Rafael dos Anjos had withdrawn from his UFC 196 main event scrap with Conor McGregor there has been much speculation as to who would fill in for the lightweight champ.
Just as many expected, Donald Cerrone offered to take the fight on short notice, as did former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis.
While the UFC has yet to officially announce an opponent for McGregor, Donald Cerrone posted a video to Instagram of himself in the gym with the caption “go time” on the video, and the caption “I know a guy” on Instagram.
Will he now fight McGregor at UFC 196?
