Just when you think Anthony Bourdain and his “Parts Unknown” CNN series couldn’t get any better, think again.
Bourdain, who has fallen in love with Brazilian jiu-jitsu, spiced up the recipe for his show by bringing in Nick and Nate Diaz along with their friend and longtime training partner Gilbert Melendez. The UFC stars added a unique flair to Bourdain’s show that MMA fans will surely appreciate.
The Diaz brothers talk a bit about their diets with not eating any meat and how it has helped them with their training and the guys also talk about the kind of foods they grew up on.
Nate Diaz fans will enjoy when the younger Diaz brother talks about getting into one of his first fights as a kid.
Nate recalled the time when he was out at the baseball field trying to catch foul balls as the kids helping out would often get rewarded with a little snack. Nate says he was given a hard time by one of the baseball players who got upset that he didn’t give a smaller kid any chance of getting a foul ball. Nate says he was egged on by Nick and his crew to fight the baseball player that was giving him attitude and it didn’t go so well for the young Diaz, who would eventually make his way to be a part of some of the biggest fights in UFC history.
