Former champ Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida lives in Rancho Palos Verdes and it’s about 37.4 miles from Kings MMA, where current heavyweight champ Fabricio Werdum trains. “The Dragon” (22-7 MMA) is seen in this video capturing some of his finer action/acting scenes.

Fabricio “Vai Cavalo” Werdum (20-5 MMA) is currently ranked #7 in the pound for pound rankings by Sherdog. The heavyweight champ is widely recognized as the man who decisively beat Fedor Emelianenko by triangle-armbar in 2010.

Werdum will more than likely be defending his title against former champ Cain Velasquez (13-2 MMA) at a March event in Brazil. This will be Velasquez attempt to claim the heavyweight strap for the third time. The champ is riding a 6 fight winning streak since his return in 2012 to the UFC.
