Tuesday morning it was announced that Rafael dos Anjos had broken his foot and would no longer be able to defend his title at UFC 196 on March 5th against Conor McGregor.
Ultimately Nate Diaz was chosen as a new opponent for McGregor, and the bout was moved from a lightweight fight to a welterweight fight.
In the wake of the announcement, Nate Diaz’s boxing coach, Richard Perez, spoke to BJPenn.com’s very own LayzieTheSavage to discuss the bout, and why he feels Diaz will win.
