When it was announced that Conor McGregor would be moving up to lightweight to challenge Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight championship, McGregor made it clear that he believed he wants the welterweight championship by the end of the year as well.
Despite the MMA community being split down the middle on who they see winning the fight between McGregor and dos Anjos, McGregor remained steadfast in his prediction that he would take RDA’s head off.
Surprisingly, UFC President Dana White doesn’t seem to have much faith in McGregor, and doesn’t really give ‘Notorious’ much of a chance when it comes to claiming the lightweight championship.
Do you think he’s just trying to hype the fight? Or are McGregor’s chances of winning really that narrow?
