Ukranian gold medal Olympic wrestler Vyacheslav Oliynyk made headlines recently, but not for any new accolades.
Oliynyk, who just turned 50-years-old last week was pulled over by police in Kiev recently on suspicion of drunk driving.
After being pulled over, Oliynyk questioned the police for pulling him over, according to Sports Illustrated. From what is seen in the video, Oliynyk becomes aggressive and has his fist pulled back looking like he is going to strike an officer before the police pepper spray and hit Oliynyk with a baton.
Oliynyk shows his takedown defense is still there at the age of 50 as six officers are needed to take him down.
Sports Illustrated also reports that police later released Oliynyk and he told local reporters that he “didn’t do anything that bad.”
Oliynyk competed at the 1996 Olympics winning gold in the Greco-Roman light heavyweight division at 90 kilograms. He also competed in the 2000 Olympics where he ended up getting 14th place.
