Tuesday night unfortunate news surfaced that former UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva had been forced out of his UFC 198 matchup with Uriah Hall this Saturday due to a problem with his gallbladder.
It was revealed that Silva would need to undergo surgery to have his gallbladder removed on Wednesday. Wednesday morning an update was given by Silva’s physician that ‘The Spider’ had successfully his gallbladder removed, and would hopefully be released from the hospital on Friday.
During all this, there has been much speculation as to what the UFC would do with Uriah Hall. Unfortunately for Hall, news has emerged that the UFC has pulled him from the card according to MMAFighting.
While the UFC reportedly tried to find Hall a replacement, the two sides couldn’t come to an agreement, leading to Hall being yanked from the card last minute.
