Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till has reportedly been arrested in Tenerife for allegedly trashing a hotel and stealing a taxi.

Till, who is coming off a brutal knockout loss to Jorge Masvidal, is said to have been stopped by police after jumping into a cab and speeding off as the driver was handling luggage.

Darren Till and the fellow tourists were apparently staying in a lodging complex in which they broke furniture and emptied extinguishers, as per a report from Tenerife daily El Dia.

According the report, when the taxi driver went to load the bags of Till and his entourage, two individuals, including the aforementioned fighter, got into and took off.

Upon their arrival in La Caleta, Till and his associates were intercepted by a patrol of the National Police and later put under arrest.

The arrests are said to have occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning. The other four Brits who were involved have not been named at this time.

UFC officials have yet to comment on the news.
