Kron Gracie made his highly anticipated octagon debut in a featherweight bout against Alex Caceres at tonight’s UFC Phoenix event.
The son of legendary Brazilian Jiu Jitsu wizard Rickson Gracie, Kron, entered tonight’s fight sporting a perfect professional record of 4-0.
Kron Gracie was last seen in MMA competition in December of 2016, where he defeated Tatsuya Kawajiri via second-round submission under the RIZIN banner.
As for Kron’s first career UFC opponent Alex Caceres, “Bruce Leeroy” entered tonight’s contest on the heels of a split-decision victory over Martin Bravo which occurred this past July.
Kron Gracie was able to push Alex Caceres against the cage in the early stages of round one. From there, Gracie would force Caceres to the floor where he took his back and locked in a body triangle. Gracie wasted little time securing a rear-naked choke submission which eventually forced a tap from “Bruce Leeroy“.
