Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov shares his thoughts on the news of an ‘atypical finding’ in Jon Jones USADA drug test.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is long time friends and a training partner of Jon Jones bitter rival Daniel Cormier.

“Bones” defeated “DC” for a second time at UFC 214 in August of 2017, but that ruling was later overturned to a no-contest this after Jones was flagged for the aforementioned substance turinabol.

Obviously the news of Jon Jones ‘atypical finding’ didn’t sit well with the promotions current “champ champ”. Cormier blasted Jones on social media immediately following the news.

“DC’s” posts triggered Jones to respond, and the heated rivals went back and forth on social media.

Like Jon Jones, Khabib Nurmagomedov currently finds himself in hot water with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The undefeated Russian fighter is currently suspended by the NSAC and is still awaiting an official punishment from the commission for his involvement in the UFC 229 main event post-fight brawl.

It is rumored that “The Eagle” could receive a massive fine and nine-month suspension (retroactive to the date) for his actions.

Despite that, Khabib’s father recently told reporters that his son has already received a mega offer from the UFC to rematch Conor McGregor in 2019.

Whether that holds true remains to be seen.

UFC 232 will now take place from The Forum in Inglewood, California on Saturday evening, as Jon Jones was granted a license to compete by the California State Athletic Commission.
