Tonight’s UFC Argentina event was headlined by a welterweight bout featuring hometown favorite Santiago Ponzinnibio taking on Neil Magny.
Santiago Ponzinibbio (28-3 MMA) entered tonight’s UFC Argentina main event on a six fight win streak, his latest being a unanimous decision win over Mike Perry this past December.
Meanwhile, Neil Magny was most recently seen in action at UFC Liverpool, where he scored a first-round knockout victory over Craig White.
Santiago Ponzinibbio was able to get the better of Neil Magny throughout the course of UFC Argentina main event. “Ponz” connected with numerous heavy low kicks, a number of which caused Magny to crash to the canvas.
Midway through round four, Santiago Ponzinibbio was able to connect with a huge right hand that sent Neil Magny crashing face first into the octagon canvas.

With his victory over Neil Magny at UFC Argentina, Santiago Ponzinibbio extended his current win streak to seven in a row.
The Argentinian fighter is now well positioned for a top contenders bout in his next octagon appearance.
