UFC President Dana White was not happy about the post-fight brawl that ensued moments after Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor at UFC 229.
Following three rounds of back and forth action, Khabib Nurmagomedov was able to take Conor McGregor to the canvas in round four and obtain dominant position.
The undefeated Russian would eventually take the Irish superstars back and began working for a rear-naked choke submission.
Nurmagomedov was eventually able to secure the choke which forced Conor McGregor to tapout.
Immediately following his emphatic submission win, Khabib Nurmagomedov proceeded to hop the octagon fence and attack McGregor’s teammate and jiu-jitsu coach Dillon Danis.
That caused a brief brawl to spark between the rival fight camps and resulted with Conor McGregor being punched in the face by multiple members of Khabib’s team.
At tonight’s UFC 229 press conference in Las Vegas, UFC President Dana White discussed tonight’s UFC 229 main event bout between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov and the ensuing brawl that broke out following the contests conclusion.
