UFC champion Amanda Nunes and Bellator champ Cris Cyborg opened as the betting favorites for future fights against PFL star Kayla Harrison.
BestFightOdds recently shared the opening odds for a potential Nunes vs. Harrison and Cyborg vs. Harrison fight. Check out the betting odds for both of these future fights below.
Future Events:
Amanda Nunes (-300)
Kayla Harrison (+250)https://t.co/VO30HT1Mz6 @Amanda_Leoa— BestFightOdds (@BestFightOdds) August 21, 2021
Future Events:
Cristiane Justino (-200)
Kayla Harrison (+170)https://t.co/VO30HT1Mz6 @criscyborg— BestFightOdds (@BestFightOdds) August 21, 2021
Amanda Nunes -300
Kayla Harrison +250
Cris Cyborg -200
Kayla Harrison +170
Nunes opened as a -300 betting favorite for a future matchup with Harrison, who opened as a +250 betting underdog for that particular future matchup. That means a $300 bet on Nunes would win you $100, while a $100 straight bet on Harrison at +250 would win you $250. As for Cyborg, she also opened up as the favorite over Harrison, albeit as only a -200 favorite, while Harrison opened up as a +170 betting underdog for that future fight.
Harrison is currently the reigning PFL women’s lightweight champion, and she is fully expected to run through the field and win the $1 million dollars again this year against Taylor Guardado in the finals. She has admitted that she will need big money to leave PFL, who is paying her very well for fighting against very average opponents, and the UFC or Bellator could potentially come calling for future Harrison fights with both Nunes or Cyborg.
Nunes and Harrison are actually teammates at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida, which adds another level of intrigue to that particular matchup. As well, Harrison will have to drop down to the 145lbs division if she wants to fight in either the UFC or in Bellator, which do not feature the women’s 155lbs weight class. Harrison did compete at 145lbs for Titan FC just last year, so it is possible that she could cut down to featherweight.
Who would your money be on in potential Kayal Harrison fights against Amanda Nunes or Cris Cyborg?
