On Sunday night (Sunday afternoon in North America), the UFC returned to picturesque Glasgow, Scotland with UFC Fight Night 113. After an entertaining undercard, the main card was kicked off by a heavyweight bout between England’s James Mulheron and American Justin Willis. Both heavyweights were making their UFC debuts.
Though Mulheron was not without his moments, this one ultimately went to Willis, who showed off a clear wrestling advantage – and apparent strength advantage – over the course of three gruelling rounds. The American Kickboxing Academy product will leave Glasgow with a new unanimous decision win on his record.

With this win, Willis is now 5-1 as a pro, and 1-0 in the perilous UFC heavyweight division. Mulheron, meanwhile, has a four-fight win-streak derailed by this loss, which is just his second in 13 fights. He’s now 11-2 in sum, and will have to wait for his first UFC win.
Do you think American Kickboxing Academy’s Justin Willis can make some waves in the UFC heavyweight division?
