BREAKING! Fabricio Werdum gets a new fight for UFC 216!

Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum will remain on tonight’s UFC 216 pay-per-view fight card.

The UFC just announced that Werdum will now square off with Walt Harris on the UFC 216 main card.

Werdum was originally expected to square off with Derrick Lewis at tonight’s event. However, Derrick Lewis was forced to pull out of tonight’s card just minutes prior to the event after aggravating a back injury.

Meanwhile, Walt Harris was expected to fight Mark Godbeer on tonight’s UFC 216 Fight Pass Prelims. That fight is now scrapped in favor of keep the former heavyweight champion (Werdum) on the card.
