UFC 212 Results: Johnny Eduardo vs. Matthew Lopez

A bantamweight scrap between Johnny Eduardo and Matthew Lopez took place during tonight’s UFC 212 prelims on FS1.

Round one begins and both men are throwing bombs early. Eduardo lands a nice right hand and then a big leg kicks. Lopez circles out and then shoots in and scores with a double leg takedown. Eduardo drops down for a heel hook but cannot secure the submission. Matthew reasserts himself in top position. He begins landing some big shots from the top. Huge hammer fists from Lopez here. He starts raining down some left hooks. The referee takes a look as Matthew continues to land big shots. The ref has seen enough and this one is all over. Wow! That was some serious ground and pound.
