This past Friday in Las Vegas, fight fans tuned in to an action packed night of fights in Las Vegas for the ‘Ultimate Fighter: Redemption’ Finale, where TUF 25’s Jesse Taylor was crowned the winner of TUF nine years after earning his way to the Finale for the first time.
In addition, the main event of the card played host to the highly anticipated UFC debut of former WSOF champion Justin Gaethje, who piked up a thrilling 2nd round TKO win over Michael Johnson after nearly being finished in the first round of the pair’s grudge match.

It also is important to mention that TUF 25 winner Jesse Taylor was awarded $290,000 for his co-main event win over Diego Lima which saw Taylor submit his opponent early in the second round. With the $290,000 in prize money, Taylor ultimately left the event with a disclosed $320,000. In addition, Justin Gaethje earned himself a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, as well as $50,000 for his role in the ‘Fight of the Night’ brining his disclosed earnings for the event to $300,000, marking an extremely successful UFC debut for the former WSOF champion.
