How does a lightweight clash between Tony Ferguson vs Al Iaquinta sound to you?
On Sunday, Iaquinta shifted his focus from Sage Northcutt and put the #2 UFC ranked lightweight Tony Ferguson in his sights and let it be known on Twitter.

Ferguson obviously didn’t find Iaquinta’s tweet too friendly and fired back at “Raging” Al, who is currently ranked the #11 lightweight by the UFC.
Ferguson: Fuck You @ALIAQUINTA #NoBonusBitchAss • Not Only Would You Get Murked, I’d End Your Career. #SayMyName3TimesLikeCandyMan “El Cucuy” @ufc.

Al Iaquinta is currently on a five-fight winning streak with his last win coming against Diego Sanchez by KO in the first round at UFC Fight Night 108 in April. Prior to the fight with Sanchez, “Raging” Al had a short retirement stint after he beat Jorge Masvidal in 2015 as he and the UFC could not come to terms on his fight contract. Iaquinta is still very vocal about his pay and has been a loud voice in speaking out for himself against the UFC and Dana White.
Tony Ferguson is on a nine-fight winning streak and was slated to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov for the interim lightweight title at UFC 209 in March. Nurmagomedov was admitted to a hospital after experiencing weight management medical issues the night before weigh-ins and the bout was canceled. Ferguson last beat former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos by unanimous decision after their UFC Fight Night 98 main event in November of last year.
