Earlier today former UFC interim heavyweight champion Shane Carwin (12-2 MMA) took to Twitter where he hinted that he was making the move to fight for RIZIN Fighting Federation by posting the following.
Hey @rizin_PR you are going to need bigger gloves, these do not fit, not even close! #MMA pic.twitter.com/Yk3gp2ataz

A fan then tweeted at Carwin suggesting that they would love to see him fight PRIDE legend Fedor Emelianenko.
Shane replied to the fans tweet with the following jaw-dropping information:
I accepted that fight two weeks ago. Would be an honor. It is up to him

“I accepted that fight two weeks ago,” his tweet read. “Would be an honor. It is up to him.”
Shane Carwin was last seen in action at UFC 131 in 2011, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Junior dos Santos. Prior to that, Carwin was coming off the first loss of his career when he was submitted by Brock Lesnar in a title unification bout.
Before the setbacks, which eventually resulted in Carwin walking away from the sport, the big man had strung together an impressive twelve-fight win streak which was highlighted by his victory over Frank Mir to claim the promotions interim heavyweight title at UFC 111.
Meanwhile, Fedor Emelianenko was last seen in action in June, where he scored a highly controversial decision victory over Fabio Maldonado. The PRIDE legend is currently riding a five-fight win streak, scoring victories over fellow veterans Pedro Rizzo and Jeff Monson in that time.
Who do you think would emerge victorious if Shane Carwin and Fedor Emelianenko throw down in RIZIN FF? Sound off PENN Nation!
