This past Saturday in New Jersey Sage Northcutt was handed the first loss of his career at the hands of Bryan Barberena.

Northcutt caught quite a bit of criticism for what many believed to be a premature tap, however despite that he has managed to stay positive. Northcutt even went as far as to reveal that he would be training at Tristar gym full time in the future. In addition, it was revealed that Northcutt had been hospitalized prior to the bout, and may even need his tonsils removed!
