Fans and critics seem to know Ronda Rousey better than she knows herself, at times.
The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion posted a photo from her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to her Instagram account. Some fans and critics made a few comments that Rousey looked like she had gotten skinnier.
Apparently that was the case, in the photo she posted.
Rousey later posted another one of her #quotephase posts that fired back at all the Internet bullies.
However, it was the post that came next that goes to show how crazy being in the spotlight is.
Rousey apparently found out that the photo she posted was, in fact, photoshopped to slim her arms.
Rousey captioned the photo with the original and photoshopped versions side by side:
“I have to make an apology to everyone – I was sent a picture to share on social for Fallon that was altered without me knowing to make my arms look smaller. I won’t say by who – I know it was done with severely misplaced positive intentions – but this goes against everything I believe and I am extremely proud of every inch of my body. And I can assure you all it will never happen again. I could not be more appalled and hope you all forgive me.”
While Rousey has been busy filming movies and taking a break from fighting in the UFC, she has recently had a busy schedule with appearances in the media. Ronda Rousey was buzzing after she appeared on The Ellen Show this week and revealed that she had contemplated suicide after her loss to Holly Holm in November.
Many were curious to hear just the responses from fellow fighters and celebrities such as Brock Lesnar, Miesha Tate, and Holly Holm on what they thought of Ronda’s talk of suicide.
While Rousey is getting back to being used to the spotlight and has a reason to live with someday having kids, fans of hers are awaiting for her return to the Octagon. However, no date has been set yet for her return to fighting.
