Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has just inked another deal in the film industry. Rousey has landed a contract for three movies with the Lifetime Network.
Rousey joins other stars including Janet Jackson and Serena Williams who will be a part of Lifetime’s 2016-2017 development schedule, according to Deadspin.
Rousey’s deal with the Lifetime Network involves working on stories that will bring female empowerment to the big screen.
Rousey last fought Holly Holm in November 2015, which ended in her first professional loss. Rousey has taken time off to recover from her injuries from the fight with Holm and has been busy filming movies.
No date has been set for Ronda Rousey’s next fight in the UFC.
