On Monday, Ronda Rousey posted on social media for the first time since losing to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207.
Rousey’s social media post was a quote from J K Rowling that reflected her mindset saying, “And so rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.”
Just when you think things were at an all-time low for the former champion, some vandal has thrown salt in the wound taking it to a personal level on Rousey’s Venice Beach home, according to a report from Daily Mail.
Rousey’s home was allegedly vandalized with graffiti as the report states that “vandals plastered black spray paint along the side of her Venice Beach home.”

Ronda Rousey is on a two-fight losing streak after going undefeated for 12 straight fights since entering her professional mixed martial arts career. Rousey had an impressive dominating win streak, finishing all of her opponents in the first round with the exception of Miesha Tate in their second fight, where Rousey finished the fight in the third round by armbar.
In November of 2015, Rousey tasted defeat for the first time where Holly Holm shocked the world by knocking Rousey out in the second round of their UFC 193 main event. Rousey took over a year off from fighting after the loss to Holm and returned to the Octagon in December to challenge Amanda Nunes for the title at UFC 207. Things did not pan out well for Rousey as Nunes hurt Rousey early on in their fight with powerful strikes and ultimately finished Rousey by TKO at just 48-seconds of the first round.
Now, building back from “rock bottom,” Rousey’s future in fighting is still unclear as the former UFC champion has not stated whether she intends to fight again or retire.
