This Saturday, the UFC will take over Madison Square Garden with UFC 205. The card will mark the UFC’s debut in New York City, New York, and to celebrate the occasion, the organization has stacked the lineup to the brim.

The card is topped by three title fights. The most high-profile of these championship bouts will see featherweight champ Conor McGregor take on lightweight king Eddie Alvarez in a bid to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts simultaneously. The second will see welterweight ruler Tyron Woodley defend his title against venomous striker Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. The third will see strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk attempt her fourth title defense against countrywoman Karolina Kowalkiewicz.  Then there’s the rest of the main card, which will feature a middleweight scrap between Chris Weidman and Yoel Romero, a welterweight bout between Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Kelvin Gastelum, and a bantamweight battle between Miesha Tate and Raquel Pennington.

Needless to say, this is an incredibly stacked card.

Yet there is perhaps no better indication of just how stacked this card is than the undercard, which is packed with the kind of talent that, under any other circumstances, would reside comfortably on the main card. One such talent is Rashad Evans, a former UFC light heavyweight champion and the winner of The Ultimate Fighter season 2. He’ll be making his middleweight debut against former Strikeforce standout Tim Kennedy in just the fifth bout of the 13-fight card.

In advance of Evans’ anticipated middleweight drop, the UFC has released a video of his 8 most important moments in the Octagon – as chosen by the former champ himself. This video, which includes career highlights like his razor close defeat of MMA legend Dan Henderson, his thunderous 2008 knockout Chuck Liddell, and of course his title win, can be viewed at the top of this video.

What has been your favorite moment of Rashad Evan’s Hall-of-Fame worthy career? Do you think he adds another memorable win to his record when he fights Tim Kennedy this Saturday? Sound off, PENN Nation!
