We’re now less than a month away from UFC 196 where Conor McGregor will challenge Rafael dos Anjos for the UFC lightweight championship.
The fight will be McGregor’s first at lightweight under the UFC banner. Ahead of the bout many are questioning how Conor McGregor’s speed will be at lightweight. In a video of McGregor sparring with welterweight teammate Gunner Nelson, McGregor can be seen looking quick and bulked up.
With that being said, in this photo of Rafael dos Anjos sparring with Lyoto Machida, the lightweight champion looks huge in comparison to Machida.
To put things in perspective, dos Anjos is 5’9 and fights at 155 pounds, while Machida is 6’1 and fights at 185 pounds…
