Khabib Nurmagomedov improved his mixed martial arts record to a perfect 23-0 last weekend when he defeated Darrell Horcher on the main card of UFC on FOX 19 in Tampa.
Following his impressive TKO victory over Horcher, “The Eagle” decided to call out current UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos in his post-fight interview.
Khabib and “RDA” already have a history, as Nurmagomedov defeated dos Anjos via unanimous decision two years ago at the UFC on FOX 11 event in April of 2014.
“The Eagle” took to Twitter to say that he is ready to put another loss on “RDA’s” record. The lightweight champion quickly responded to that tweet, stating that Khabib just beat a guy with a full-time job and was not worthy of a title shot. Check it out:
@TeamKhabib since that I've beat Ben Henderson,Diaz,Pettis,Cowboy and you beat a guy with fulltime job.
