On Friday, on the main card of ONE: Enter The Dragon in Singapore, former UFC talent Sage Northcutt made his debut in the ONE Championship ring. He was welcomed to the Asian martial arts powerhouse by kickboxing talent Cosmo Alexandre, who he met in a mixed martial arts bout.
Northcutt’s ONE Championship did not go as he planned. In fact, this first bout on Asian soil went disastrously for the former UFC wunderkind, as he was knocked out cold by his Brazilian foe in less than 30 seconds.

Is Alvarez and Northcutt getting KOd a disaster for ONE? Is it a triumph for ONE? I really don’t know but it sure has been entertaining.

What's funny is that so many people are now acting like everybody was sleeping on Cosmo… Literally everybody was saying how tough this matchup looked for Sage. Many were picking Cosmo outright… #EnterTheDragon

With this knockout at the hands the kickboxing star Cosmo Alexandre, Sage Northcutt returns to the loss column after three-straight wins in the UFC’s Octagon: a TKO victory over Zak Ottow, and decision triumphs against Thibault Gouti and Michel Quiñones. Northcutt had never been knocked out in a mixed martial arts bout previously.
Cosmo Alexandre is now 8-1 as a mixed martial artist.
